A 1997 graduate of Virginia Seminary, Richmond Webster previously served as Rector of St. John's, Decatur, Alabama. A Bessemer native and a former Southern Baptist, Rich became an Episcopalian in college and was confirmed by Bishop Furman Stough at the Church of the Ascension in Montgomery. He is married to Ellen, and they have two teenage children, Copeland and Betsy. After seminary, Rich served as a Curate at St. John's in Montgomery. His interests include playing with his children, reading, music, gardening, running, and any excuse to be outdoors. Rich recently published two books, Snapshots of Hope, with Morehouse Publishing and God's Gifts: Stories from Saint Luke's.
