How Will You Get Involved?
It’s all our church. We encourage you to design your Saint Luke’s experience around you and your family. We have something for everyone, and it begins by getting involved. Live your faith, practice practical compassion, extend hospitality, nurture faith and utilize the talents God gave each of us in his service.
As you think of how you and your family might want to participate more in the community that is Saint Luke’s, consider these ministries.
Too many opportunities to mention!
Did you know Saint Lukes gives 10% of our budget to outreach! We believe that being involved and supporting the individuals and communities, and countries around us is what we are called to do. There are one time, weekly, monthly, individual and family oriented volunteer activities available. Email email@example.com to receive our monthly listing of ways you and your family can get involved with outreach.
Become an usher, acolyte or welcome minister
It takes both clergy and congregational volunteers to make services on Sunday special. Join an usher team, become an acolyte or just help us welcome everyone to church each Sunday. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to get involved.
Each Sunday we need volunteers to go with the children to children’s chapel at the 9 am and 11 am service. We ask that parents of children that attend (3 years – 2nd grade) volunteer once per semester. This is also a great way for grandparents to be involved. Email email@example.com to learn more.
EYC, Youth Bible Study, Confirmation
Throughout the year, we need parent volunteers to provide food, snacks, drinks, and support for our junior and senior high activities. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to ask how you can help minister to our teenagers.
Weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays
Grace with taste! The kitchen feeds hundreds each Wednesday for drive thru dinner and on Sunday we have breakfast available all day. Not a cook, no worries we have one. We need you to help service and box up dinner on Wednesday and Sunday. Email email@example.com to get on the schedule.
Tuesdays and Thursdays 9 am – 2 pm
This respite ministry for Adults with Memory Loss is so much fun and full of energy. You can volunteer once a month or each week. There is an initial training offered to help you understand what the program entails and how best you can support those that attend. For more information email firstname.lastname@example.org.
