Caring for One Another
Founders Place – A respite ministry program for adults with memory challenges. Volunteers serve as companions to our participants as they enjoy crafts, games, music, devotions, and brain stimulating activities. Training is provided and commitment time is flexible. Community Services
Clergy from the Birmingham Convocation of the Diocese of Alabama work together to provide worship services at several area retirement communities. All are welcome to attend these services.
- Episcopal Place, weekly Episcopal service at 3:15pm each Wednesday in the lobby, served by clergy from the Birmingham area, with Saint Luke’s every first Wednesday
- Kirkwood by the River, weekly Episcopal service each Sunday at 3:30pm in the Chapel, served by priests from the Birmingham area, with Saint Luke’s every third Sunday
- Brookdale University Park, Episcopal service every second Sunday at 2pm in the Gazebo Room
- St. Martin’s in the Pines, Episcopal service every fourth Sunday at 2pm in the Chapel

Ministries
The mission of the Foundation is to manage gifts, memorials, and bequests for St. Luke’s Church for purposes and uses that support the long-term goals and needs of the Church and its facilities. The Foundation shall not be an ever-growing store of funds, but an ever-growing use of funds in support of St. Luke’s.
