Day School
2024 – 2025
Mission
At Saint Luke’s Day School, children are surrounded by the beauty of God’s house and nurtured in God’s love each day. We exist to promote social, emotional, physical, cognitive, academic, and spiritual growth in a safe and loving environment for children, Infants through Pre-Kindergarten.
An Exceptional Day School Experience
With a staff of 50 trained teachers and support staff, St. Luke’s Day School maintains the lowest student-to-teacher ratio in the area, assuring the personal attention important for a holistic educational experience. A curriculum rich in various, age-appropriate learning opportunities also sets our school apart.
Our school offers enrollment for children who are 8 weeks old through 5K. Hours are 9:00-1:00. We offer early care (as needed) from 8:00 and stay-and-play (as needed) until 2:00 for all ages. Our curriculum is based on kindergarten readiness as guided by MB School kindergarten teachers. As a part of our curriculum, we offer Spanish, yoga, science, character development, Chapel, Bible lessons, art, music, and PE. We have an academic interventionist who works with children 3K-5K to meet them where they are and support a positive academic foundation. Special events throughout the year, like Halloween celebrations, Thanksgiving Feast, Christmas Pageant, Shrove Tuesday Pancake Lunch, and Grand pal’s Day, add energy and excitement. Field trips for 4 and 5-year-olds include the zoo, botanical gardens, children’s theater, fire station, and more. Fridays are STEAM Fridays, where the hands-on learning focus is on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.
Along with stay-and-play, we offer after-school enrichment activities for 3K and older: Aces and Birdies, Kid Tigerz Karate, Soccer Shots, Play and Create, Masterminds Learning, and Prof. Paige’s Science Camp.
The Day School is also an extension of the church experience as our children develop spiritually. Church clergy engage with children regularly, including a weekly Children’s Chapel in the Nave.
We have a lot going on to engage each child in purposeful play and foundational learning in a fun and happy environment.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I take a tour of the Day School?
Yes you can. Please contact our office and we’d be happy to schedule a personal visit and tour of our Day School Program and environment.
When is registration for the upcoming school year?
Registration begins in January.
Tell me about the teachers in the program?
Our students to teacher ratios are much lower than the state requirements, in addition to being lower than any other school in this area. Our staff of over 30 trained teachers keeps our classroom numbers low and our academic standards high! Also, we have floater teachers rather than substitutes. These floaters help out in classrooms on a daily basis and if a teacher needs to be absent, the floater, who is familiar with the school and children, fills in for the teachers.
What are the enrichment programs at the school?
Our Day School program features respected enrichment programs that cover an array of disciplines and learning opportunities for your children.
