Saint Luke’s Claypool Scholarship Board and Selection committee is requesting applications for the 2022 – 2023 School Year.

Each year the Claypool Scholarship Board awards a new scholarship to a student throughout the community endorsed by a member of the Saint Luke’s parish.  The applicant does not have to be a member of Saint Luke’s.

The Claypool Selection Committee requires information from each student regarding their academic achievements for the past three years, involvement in school, church and community activities, and their financial need. Also, an essay on one of John Claypool’s writings (book, publications, teachings, etc.) This essay should be based on what Claypool’s writing means to you and/or how it affects your life.

Nomination and application information can be found by contacting Saint Luke’s Church by phone, website, or by contacting Johnailla Wright at jwright@saint-lukes.com. Claypool’s books, writings, and teachings can be reviewed and borrowed from the Saint Luke’s library, or any other source available to the student.

Applications are requested on or before February 7, 2022 and should be submitted to the John R. Claypool Board, c/o Johnailla Wright, Saint Luke’s Episcopal Church.
